About the role
- Zirtual has partnered with a Texas law firm to find the right 1099 remote probate paralegal for their office.
- Zirtual provides US-based, practice-area specific virtual paralegals to law firms.
- Paralegal is main point of contact for assigned client(s) and works independently.
- Paralegal receives support from an Account Supervisor for relationship management and quality.
- Provide high-level professional service executing tasks and projects on time and to a high level of quality.
- Maintain consistent, proactive communication and be available during agreed business hours; around-the-clock availability not expected.
- Enter time daily, respond within mutually established response time expectations, maintain detailed client profiles, and follow Zirtual best practices.
- Position summary: Remote Texas business focused on probate; part-time; Dallas County experience preferred.
- Responsibilities include court filings & probate administration; client & beneficiary communication; drafting, filing, inventories & accountings; miscellaneous tasks.
- Additional assets: Experience with WealthCounsel and case management systems like Clio.
Requirements
- Paralegal experience handling Dallas County Probate Matters preferred, but not required.
- Business hour availability
- Reliable home internet and computer
- Remote work experience preferred
