About the role
- Generate sales in multi-family (MDU) properties in assigned region; increase awareness and penetration
- Network with MDU property managers, assistant managers, leasing agents, and other property staff
- Drive creative sales strategies and host community events within MDU properties to sign customers up for Ziply Fiber services
- Make regular property visits to all MDUs in assigned region and document key learnings
- Participate in e-learning, classroom sales training, and associated curriculum with Sales Trainer
- Meet and exceed monthly sales performance expectations and annual commission targets
- Collaborate with Marketing team on offer strategy, communication, and collateral creation and distribution
- Perform financial responsibilities including operational expense tracking, processing mileage reimbursements, and logging event expenses
- Monitor industry developments and apply critical thinking for strategic and customer impact analysis
- Drive on behalf of the company within a specific region; operate motor vehicle safely
Requirements
- 6+ months of sales and/or customer service experience – OR – current or prior military service
- Committed to providing exceptional customer service in a calm, professional manner
- Enthusiastic, persuasive, persistent, and able to handle rejection in the selling process
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US for any employer; sponsorship is not available
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and be a self-starter
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and customer information
- Ability to deal with the public in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment and reasoning skills
