Electrical Engineer

• Support the full life cycle of flight electronics design, analysis, manufacture, and test, as a member of the Electrical Engineering team.
• Lead individual subsystem design and project efforts while coordinating with relevant cross-functional stakeholders.
• Perform electrical design, including schematic, parts selection and layout, for spacecraft electronics subsystems (e.g. avionics, solar arrays, batteries, payloads, subsystems and harnessing).
• Perform analysis to demonstrate performance, survivability and optimization of electrical designs.
• Maintain sourcing strategy for new and existing electronic components.
• Contribute to the maintenance of configuration control, drawing release and component libraries.
• Perform other professional duties as assigned.

Spacecraft Electrical Engineer

Manager

• Serve as the daily liaison between clients, designers, contractors, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee contractor performance to ensure compliance with construction plans, specifications, budgets, and schedules.
• Oversee daily construction activities, managing timelines, budgets, and staffing.
• Build and maintain strong client and team relationships; address and resolve project issues efficiently.
• Coordinate and manage Harris sub-consultants (as applicable).
• Review engineering drawings and specifications for accuracy, constructability, and completeness.
• Monitor project progress and verify compliance with plans, materials, and timelines; coordinate with on-site Harris inspectors as needed.
• Manage and track construction costs against project budget; review, negotiate, and process change orders; participate in claims reviews (if applicable).
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
• Manage project communications and documentation including RFIs, submittals, field directives, clarification letters, change orders, and progress payments, following Harris’ construction management practices.

Construction Manager – Roadway, Utilities

• Manage Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) department within office location(s) and lead preconstruction, engineering, and field installation of VDC project deliverables.
• Manage VDC department, office, and/or project budget, including forecasting and actuals for third-party resources.
• Develop workforce plans for staff resources including acquiring, hiring, capacity planning, and work assignments.
• Oversee VDC staff resources and identify appropriate training to help with employee development needs.
• Collaborate with HR Talent Acquisition team to define staffing requirements and develop talent pipeline.
• Draft and approve VDC action plans and schedules to align with project goals and RFP requirements.
• Support Business Development teams to contribute content that highlights VDC capabilities.
• Standardize VDC project workflows and track lessons learned.

VDC Manager

• Oversee all phases of construction from planning to execution and handover

• Provide program management support to stakeholders by acting as the primary point of contact for the assigned design-build projects.

• Post-Award Execution & Dispute Avoidance: Direct post-award oversight of design, construction, and quality administration, implementing proactive claim-avoidance initiatives to minimize disputes and ensure seamless project delivery.
