About the role
- Manage Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) department within office location(s) and lead preconstruction, engineering, and field installation of VDC project deliverables.
- Manage VDC department, office, and/or project budget, including forecasting and actuals for third-party resources.
- Develop workforce plans for staff resources including acquiring, hiring, capacity planning, and work assignments.
- Oversee VDC staff resources and identify appropriate training to help with employee development needs.
- Collaborate with HR Talent Acquisition team to define staffing requirements and develop talent pipeline.
- Draft and approve VDC action plans and schedules to align with project goals and RFP requirements.
- Support Business Development teams to contribute content that highlights VDC capabilities.
- Standardize VDC project workflows and track lessons learned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in VDC or related area
- Experience in project management and budgeting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Certifications in project management preferred
- Proven track record in talent development
- Familiarity with digital tools in construction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
