About the role
- You are a trusted advisor, product consultant, and a closer – you’re working with customers to deliver immense ROI in an efficient, value-based renewal and upsell cycle for
- Partner with the Customer Success team to monitor health scorecards, identify customer needs, and demonstrate account management capabilities to guide deal closure.
- You’re a product evangelist – you’ll solution Zip to meet the pain points today, but also with an eye toward our product of the future
- You’re a builder – at a startup, you’re not just a team member, but you help build the team culture and bring your best practices to the org
- Negotiate all facets of renewal contracts. Develop win/win negotiation strategies that maximize contract value while enhancing the customer relationship and the value they are realizing from Zip.
- Engage the broader Zip team to provide regular and accurate updates on renewal status to management and escalate when needed.
- Manage current customers on multi-year contracts to ensure customer value realization.
Requirements
- 2+ years of technology SaaS experience
- Experience selling to procurement, finance, legal
- Experience driving customer retention and adoption of a SaaS product for enterprise accounts
- Customer management skills; including sales, Account management, and customer service
- Self-driven – you don’t need someone to motivate you to put in your best every day
- You’d describe yourself as organized, efficient with your time, and an excellent communicator
- Experience using tools like Salesforce, Clari, Zoominfo, LinkedIn SalesNav, and Outreach
- Willing to go the extra mile to make sure our customers, company, team, and yourself succeed
