About the role
- Own the quote-to-cash systems architecture: Lead the design, governance, and roadmap for Zip’s revenue systems stack—primarily Salesforce, CPQ, and Spiff—with integrations into NetSuite and downstream finance tools.
- Drive automation across the revenue lifecycle: Build scalable integrations and workflows that eliminate manual handoffs between Sales, Deal Desk, and Finance, from opportunity through invoice.
- Lead system reimplementations and enhancements: Manage CPQ rollouts, billing system upgrades, and vendor transitions. Partner with internal stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate tools, and own delivery end-to-end.
- Ensure data accuracy across systems: Partner with Finance and RevOps to define and enforce ARR, booking, and billing definitions. Create a single source of truth for financial reporting and audit-readiness.
- Enable global operations: Build capabilities that support international growth, including multi-currency quoting, billing, and reporting.
- Support commissions automation: Partner with GTM Ops and Finance to automate compensation logic and payout workflows in Spiff.
- Be the connective tissue: Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating operational pain points into scalable system solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in business systems, revenue operations, or finance systems, ideally within high-growth B2B SaaS.
- Deep expertise with Salesforce and CPQ tools (e.g., Subskribe, Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud Advanced, DealHub).
- Experience designing quote-to-cash architecture with cross-system integrations (billing, revenue recognition, commissions).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and finance processes including order management and billing workflows.
- Experience working with data warehouses and reverse ETL tools (e.g., Snowflake, Census).
- Strong project management and systems implementation background. You can lead complex cross-functional initiatives from design through delivery.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills. You can translate between technical and non-technical audiences with ease.
- A builder’s mindset. You’re comfortable getting into the details of a schema, a workflow, or an automation when needed.
- Collaborative, low-ego approach. You’ll work seamlessly across Finance, Sales Ops, and Engineering.
