About the role
- Support sales executives and strategic account managers in revenue generating pursuits
- Act as a trusted advisor by aligning business outcomes with Zinnia solutions, ensuring both immediate and long-term value
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to influence solution design and ensure seamless delivery
- Support RFP/RFI responses with solution-oriented insights and technical expertise
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering trust and credibility
- Continuously develop knowledge of Zinnia’s offerings, industry trends, and competitors to provide consultative guidance
- Gather feedback from clients and prospects to help shape Zinnia’s product roadmap and go-to-market strategy
- Assist in building a best practice SC program
- Represent Zinnia sales organization at industry events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 7 to 10 years work experience in related field
- 5+ years of Life and Annuity industry experience (preferred)
- Proven experience and success in working independently at a fast pace
- Excellent results orientated, organization and management skills with the ability to lead and focus the efforts of others to a specific goal
- Superior oral/written communication skills
- Proven experience as a Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, or in a client-facing technical/pre-sales role within SaaS, fintech, or related industries
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate client requirements into tailored technology solutions
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Comfort engaging with executives, decision-makers, and technical stakeholders alike
- Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly in fast-moving client engagements
- Demonstrated success in supporting both prospective and current clients throughout solution design and implementation
- Technical aptitude and curiosity, with the ability to learn Zinnia’s platform deeply and stay up-to-date on industry trends
- Detail orientation and organizational skills to manage multiple client opportunities at once
- Some travel may be required (up to 30%)
