About the role
- Provide technical expertise, support, and guidance to customers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers and participate in the sales process from discovery to closing deals
- Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations showcasing product features, benefits, and value propositions
- Understand customer requirements and develop innovative, tailored solutions
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, solution designs, and product specifications
- Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to provide feedback and stay updated on product releases
- Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) activities to demonstrate solution feasibility and effectiveness
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and engage with potential customers
- Drive revenue growth by providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience (Network/Security/Pre Sales Engineering) - must
- Proven experience as Customer Engineer or in a pre-sales / technical sales role, preferably in the information security industry
- Strong technical background
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed
