About the role
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers, and actively participate in the sales process from discovery to closing deals.
- Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations that effectively showcase our products or services' features, benefits, and value propositions.
- Understand customer requirements and business challenges, and develop innovative solutions tailored to their specific needs.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers, addressing their questions, concerns, and objections during the pre-sales phase.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, solution designs, and product specifications that meet customer requirements and align with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the product development and engineering teams to provide feedback on product enhancements, identify opportunities for improvement, and stay updated on the latest product releases and updates.
- Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) activities to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of our solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and building trust.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to effectively position our products or services against competitors.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and actively engage with potential customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience (Network/Security/Pre Sales Engineering) - must Strong technical background with Proven experience as Customer Engineer or in a pre-sales / technical sales role, preferably in the information security industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.
