About the role

  • Partner with GC&O leadership to define and drive the team’s strategic plan, including annual and mid-year planning, OKRs and investment recommendations across our global content and creator bets
  • Lead large, highly cross-functional initiatives that improve how we plan, launch and scale content and creator programs, from early problem framing through execution and post-mortem
  • Design and evolve the GC&O operating model, including governance, decision-making forums, performance indicators and business review rhythms that increase clarity, accountability and speed
  • Develop clear narratives that synthesize complex data, market dynamics and internal signals into concise stories for senior leadership reviews, investment decisions and strategy alignment
  • Build and maintain reporting, dashboards and business reviews that surface insights on creator health, engagement, monetization and operational efficiency, then translate them into concrete action plans
  • Connect global strategy with regional execution by identifying gaps, codifying best practices and ensuring that programs scale effectively across markets
  • Proactively identify and size opportunities to improve and scale the business (e.g. processes, systems, tooling, vendor strategy), then lead pilots and rollouts with cross-functional partners
  • Operate as a strategic thought partner to GC&O and cross-functional leaders, helping them decide what to start, accelerate or rethink to unlock growth for Pinners, creators and partners

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, business operations or similar roles in technology or media
  • Experience in the content and/or creator ecosystem in a strategy, business operations, partnerships or programming capacity
  • Demonstrated strength in structured problem solving, including framing ambiguous questions, building hypotheses, scoping analyses and turning insights into clear, prioritized recommendations
  • Ability to move seamlessly from strategy to execution, including designing initiatives, sequencing work, setting success metrics and driving follow-through with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and narrative storytelling skills; you’re comfortable building executive-ready materials that synthesize complex data and competing signals into sharp, simple narratives
  • Experience influencing without formal authority across multiple functions (for example Partnerships, Editorial, Product, Analytics, Biz Ops, Finance) and aligning stakeholders with different priorities
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data; experience with SQL or other querying languages to independently pull and structure data, plus familiarity with tools like Tableau or Salesforce
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, a related field or equivalent experience
  • Organized, detail-oriented and resilient, with a bias toward action, continuous improvement and learning in fast-changing environments.
