About the role
- Leading the IT and controls engineering team through effective communication and project management
- Assign tasks, review and track progress, initiate projects, train and motivate employees
- Provide tools for direct reports and receive plant support
- Ensure positive employee relations and provide support for annual employee feedback
- Inspire a positive, team oriented, and collaborative environment
- Lead continuous improvement programs and provide support for team and Marysville
- Coach team through PLC programming with Siemens, Rockwell and Fanuc
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to define optimal design solutions and standards
- Manage the development of IT and controls engineering specifications for all equipment manufacturers
- Direct IT team with systems development, implementation and support
Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering (Preferred BSEE)
- 8+ years of experience in Controls/IT engineering or related engineering field
- Experience in leadership/project management
- Experience in PLC programming with Siemens, Rockwell and Fanuc
- Ability to design electrical and electronic control systems for machine processes
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and experience with Microsoft SQL and Server experience
- Working knowledge of MES/FIS systems, database solutions
- IT infrastructure knowledge, e.g., communications, servers, end-user devices including PCs
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
