About the role

  • Leading the IT and controls engineering team through effective communication and project management
  • Assign tasks, review and track progress, initiate projects, train and motivate employees
  • Provide tools for direct reports and receive plant support
  • Ensure positive employee relations and provide support for annual employee feedback
  • Inspire a positive, team oriented, and collaborative environment
  • Lead continuous improvement programs and provide support for team and Marysville
  • Coach team through PLC programming with Siemens, Rockwell and Fanuc
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to define optimal design solutions and standards
  • Manage the development of IT and controls engineering specifications for all equipment manufacturers
  • Direct IT team with systems development, implementation and support

Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering (Preferred BSEE)
  • 8+ years of experience in Controls/IT engineering or related engineering field
  • Experience in leadership/project management
  • Experience in PLC programming with Siemens, Rockwell and Fanuc
  • Ability to design electrical and electronic control systems for machine processes
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and experience with Microsoft SQL and Server experience
  • Working knowledge of MES/FIS systems, database solutions
  • IT infrastructure knowledge, e.g., communications, servers, end-user devices including PCs
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
