About the role

  • Provide technical expertise, support, and guidance to customers
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and implementing effective solutions
  • Drive revenue growth by providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and engage with prospective customers to understand needs, present solutions, and demonstrate product value
  • Conduct product demonstrations and deliver presentations showcasing features, benefits, and value propositions
  • Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, and product specifications
  • Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) activities to demonstrate feasibility and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to provide feedback and stay updated on releases
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and engage with potential customers

Requirements

  • Japanese speaker – a must.
  • Japan-based or Japan-surrounding countries - a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience (Network/Security/Pre Sales Engineering) - must
  • Strong technical background with Proven experience as Customer Engineer or in a pre-sales / technical sales role, in the information security industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.
