About the role
- Provide technical expertise, support, and guidance to customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Support the sales process: collaborate with sales, identify and qualify customers, and participate from discovery to close.
- Conduct product demonstrations, deliver presentations, and prepare technical proposals and solution designs.
- Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) activities to demonstrate solution feasibility and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to provide feedback and stay current on product updates.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows; stay current with industry trends and competitive landscape.
Requirements
- Japanese speaker – a must.
- Japan-based or Japan-surrounding countries - a must.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience (Network/Security/Pre Sales Engineering) - must
- Proven experience as Customer Engineer or in a pre-sales / technical sales role in the information security industry.
- Strong technical background
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.
