About the role

  • Provide technical expertise, support, and guidance to customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Support the sales process: collaborate with sales, identify and qualify customers, and participate from discovery to close.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, deliver presentations, and prepare technical proposals and solution designs.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) activities to demonstrate solution feasibility and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to provide feedback and stay current on product updates.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows; stay current with industry trends and competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • Japanese speaker – a must.
  • Japan-based or Japan-surrounding countries - a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience (Network/Security/Pre Sales Engineering) - must
  • Proven experience as Customer Engineer or in a pre-sales / technical sales role in the information security industry.
  • Strong technical background
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.
