About the role
- Define and evolve the long-term architectural vision for Salesforce at Zelis
- Champion platform scalability, modularity, and extensibility across Sales, Service, Experience, and Analytics Clouds
- Evaluate and recommend implementation patterns for new Salesforce capabilities like Data Cloud, Agentforce and Mulesoft
- Develop and maintain a living technical roadmap that outlines platform evolution, major releases, refactoring initiatives, and innovation pilots
- Establish and enforce architectural standards, reusable design patterns, and documentation practices across all Salesforce teams
- Design robust integration strategies between Salesforce and enterprise systems
- Conduct org health assessments and performance tuning across environments
Requirements
- 8+ years in enterprise architecture
- 5+ years focused on Salesforce platform design
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect and System Architect credentials
- Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration architecture
- Experience with Mulesoft, Heroku, Kafka, or other middleware/event platforms
- Strong understanding of security protocols, identity management, and compliance frameworks
- Prior experience in healthcare, fintech, or regulated industries
- Familiarity with microservices, containerization, and cloud-native design principles
