About the role
- Partner with Enterprise Sales and cross-functional business teams to close deals and drive revenue
- Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise customer contracts, including SaaS, licensing, and service agreements
- Drive strategic impact by moving deals from negotiation to signature to meet business objectives
- Design AI-powered enterprise negotiation playbooks to enable Sales autonomy, speed, and consistency
- Develop and maintain AI automation-powered contracting processes using Zapier and other tools
- Collaborate across Procurement, Sales, and other teams to mitigate risk and streamline review
- Respond to and lead triage of legal tickets across Zapier, escalating to subject matter experts as needed
- Champion AI transformation in legal work to scale the Legal team’s impact
- Perform other duties as needed to meet ongoing Legal team needs
Requirements
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills (technology contracts including SaaS, license agreements, online terms of service, consulting agreements, data privacy addenda)
- Sales enablement partner experience (built or enhanced sales processes and playbooks, partnered with Sales to scale efficiency)
- Experience with AI-powered legal tools and automation, including Zapier
- Clear communicator who translates legal complexity for non-legal colleagues
- Collaborative and pragmatic; comfortable with ambiguity and change
- Excellent time management; proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple matters simultaneously
- Juris Doctor and active U.S. bar admission
- 6-10 years combined in-house and/or law firm experience, especially in tech/SaaS
- Proven record in enterprise contract negotiation and document drafting
