Requirements
J.D. from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school; active state bar membership.
5+ years of legal experience, preferably in-house at a high-growth technology company.
Deep and current expertise in product, regulatory compliance, privacy, marketing, intellectual property, and consumer protection laws.
Proven in-house counsel experience advising product teams throughout the entire product lifecycle, exhibiting a deep understanding of product functionality.
Skilled in drafting and negotiating product integration agreements and managing complex customer terms and conditions negotiations.
Experience in advertising and marketing law compliance, including reviewing marketing and editorial content.
Ability to advise on multi-state laws, disclaimers, and disclosures for diverse user groups, demonstrating creative problem-solving in complex regulatory environments.
Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex legal concepts succinctly to non-legal audiences.
