About the role

  • Conduct initial quality reviews of position descriptions for completeness and formatting, perform preliminary classification analysis using client guidelines, and prepare draft evaluation statements for HR Specialist review
  • Maintain position description files and documentation, assist with desk audit data collection and employee interviews, and support classification research and reference material compilation
  • Review hiring/selection packages for completeness and compliance, process new hire paperwork and accession documentation, and coordinate routine staffing activities and communications
  • Maintain tracking systems for hiring actions and personnel records, prepare standard correspondence and notifications, and input and maintain data in HR systems
  • Create and update job aids, templates, and technical documents, provide customer service support to employees and managers, and assist with routine reporting and documentation requirements
  • Support HR Specialists with complex classification and staffing processes, coordinate scheduling and logistics for HR activities, and ensure compliance with established procedures and timelines

Requirements

  • 0-3 years related work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Project, Access)
  • Adobe Suite (Acrobat InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PageMaker, Premier)
  • SharePoint, ServiceNow, and task management systems
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Attention to detail for data entry and document processing
  • Basic understanding of federal HR processes and procedures
  • Associates Degree in HR or related field (required)
  • Human Resources or Project Management Certification (preferred)
  • US citizenship and an active Secret or higher clearance (required)
