About the role
- Review and validate Junior HR Specialist analyses, conduct complex classifications requiring advanced DCIPS expertise, formulate final determinations and evaluation statements, and lead special projects, desk audits, and policy reviews
- Design and coordinate complex workforce development initiatives, conduct strategic workforce planning and analysis, develop program tools and resources, and identify emerging onboarding needs and solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Junior HR Specialists, review work for accuracy and compliance, and ensure consistent application of evaluation standards across the agency
- Serve as liaison with government HR personnel on complex matters, provide policy recommendations, and explain complex technical terminology and policies to stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Plan, manage, and conduct special classification projects and studies, prioritize actions, develop project schedules, track progress, and resolve structural issues and technical problems
- Create advanced job aids, technical documents, training materials, and policy guidance to support HR operations and facilitate conversions from legacy systems
Requirements
- 3-5 years related work experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Project, Access)
- Adobe Suite (Acrobat InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PageMaker, Premier)
- SharePoint, ServiceNow, and task management systems
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Advanced knowledge of DCIPS evaluation system and federal HR regulations
- Policy development and analysis capabilities
- Program design and project management skills
- Quality review and supervisory oversight abilities
- Bachelors Degree in HR or related field
- US citizenship and an active Secret or higher clearance
