About the role
- Own data strategy and execution for new sectors
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for emerging sector data
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues
- Design, standardize, and maintain scalable workflows
- Own and evolve sector categorization frameworks
- Operate as a player-coach for the team
- Partner cross-functionally with other teams
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, data operations, or consulting
- 1–2 years in a lead or management capacity
- 4+ years of experience working with SQL, Python, Pyspark, or other programming languages
- Strong experience working with large, messy, evolving datasets
- Comfortable with SQL and Python (or similar tools)
- Experience building and maintaining production-grade data workflows
- Strong ownership mindset in fast-moving environments
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Preferred: Experience with brand manufacturers and/or retailers
