About the role

  • Coach a team of Brand sales leaders and sellers to develop successful sales strategies including implementing multi-tiered approaches.
  • Collaborate with our Head of Agency Development to cultivate strategic partnerships with top global agencies and drive year-over-year revenue growth for Yelp’s Enterprise and Brand segments.
  • Motivate and hold your team accountable for activities that drive revenue generation, consistently surpassing quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide regular updates to Yelp’s executive leadership team regarding your team's activities, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Develop and implement strategic planning, forecasting, and continuous development initiatives for the sales team to achieve consistent growth.
  • Identify and lead efforts to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Cultivate and maintain high-level executive relationships to drive successful sales activities and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with your team to successfully close multi-million dollar programs and create meaningful impact in the ad tech industry.

Requirements

  • A solid 10+ years of experience in effectively managing a team of 20 or more individuals.
  • Over 20+ years of relevant experience in Brand/Enterprise roles spanning Sales, Digital, and Advertising.
  • Demonstrated success in consistently surpassing revenue targets exceeding $50 million.
  • Proven ability in exceptional communication skills, including successful outreach to high-level executives.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and a history of nurturing partnerships from the ground up.
  • The capability to adeptly handle crucial conversations both within the organization and when dealing with client escalations.
  • Proficiency in navigating uncertainty, ensuring successful outcomes for all parties involved.
  • Strong alignment with Yelp’s company's mission, with a natural inclination to prioritize the company and the team's objectives.
  • Willingness and readiness to travel 50% of the time.
  • A history of collaboration and effective teamwork, both internally and externally.
  • Enthusiasm and motivation to actively contribute to the growth of something substantial here at Yelp.
