Ensures proper processing of biweekly multi state payroll for 5000+ employees in US and Canada; process monthly and quarterly commission payrolls
Process miscellaneous off cycle checks including final paycheck, severance, etc.
Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely, to include salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes and other deductions.
Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate against confirmed reports
Assist in auditing for Monthly/Quarterly/Year-end Payroll Close process, as needed
Answer, set up and test all incoming garnishments for accurate deductions
Effectively prioritize to ensure compliance and accurate record keeping and ensure payroll is processed in compliance with multi state wage and hour laws
Timely resolve internal/external employee inquiries via ticketing system
Assist with new hire and employee level location tax set ups
Requirements
Minimum 2 years full-cycle payroll experience – Required
Experience using payroll platforms, Workday, ADP Smart Compliance
Able to prioritize multiple projects, goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of payroll related deductions (Commuter Benefits, FSA, ESPP, 401k contributions, Stock transactions etc.)
Canada processing experience required
Understanding of FLSA rules
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong Google Suite skills
Able to demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality
CPP Preferred
Ability to work with team members at all levels in a remote environment
