About the role
- Provide both tactical and strategic leadership to a team of field service professionals at a large, 24/7 operating site
- Accountable for talent attraction, retention, engagement, performance management, and employee development
- Contribute to budget development, manage expenses, and participate in workforce planning
- Address and resolve employee relations matters and translate customer requirements into actionable workforce strategies and objectives
- Provide onsite visibility into KPIs and operational metrics
- Demonstrate strong second-level leadership capabilities
- Ensure product, system, and water quality and monitor/maintain appropriate inventory levels for complex or multiple sites
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering
- Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.)
- Industrial or commercial process water experience required - Water Treatment Plant Experience (Preferred)
- 5 to 7 years of technical work experience or 3 years of industry specific experience combined with 3 years of leadership/management experience
- Clean driving record
- Proficiency with computers and business software, such as Microsoft Office, Skype, Oracle/SAP, cloud-based solutions
- People management - approximately 16 employees
- Ability to communicate up/down/across
- Ability to lead and motivate teams
- Demonstrates critical thinking and complex troubleshooting to guide team members and customers
- Ability to defuse situations at a customer or internal issue.
