About the role

  • join the team as a Senior Reward Partner, acting as the primary compensation advisor for a global business function.
  • own the reward relationship end-to-end, moving beyond a service desk model to become the authoritative voice that senior leaders consult before making critical talent decisions.
  • design, implement, and evolve reward programmes that align with Xero’s strategy to attract and retain key talent across your portfolio.
  • make a tangible impact by proactively surfacing where reward strategy needs to shift and leading high-stakes projects like the annual salary review.
  • influence how stakeholders think about reward trade-offs, reframing cost discussions into strategic retention investments.

Requirements

  • deep knowledge of global compensation structures, including incentive design and equity programmes within the technology sector.
  • background in navigating complex M&A integrations or scaling reward frameworks in high-growth SaaS environments will be highly regarded.
  • statistical literacy to conduct regression and pay equity analysis, knowing how to translate data into meaningful business narratives.
  • ability to influence senior executives allows you to push back constructively and provide expert guidance on market dynamics.
  • experience with HCM systems, particularly Workday, and compensation survey platforms like Radford or Mercer is essential for success in this role.
  • self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, capable of managing multiple global projects and making autonomous trade-offs to deliver results.
