About the role
- Lead evaluation and strategic recommendation for a new CTRM platform focused on soft commodities
- Conduct market analysis and vendor evaluation to identify potential CTRM solutions
- Perform technical and functional comparisons of leading CTRM systems (architecture, functional fit, scalability, integration)
- Assess architectural fit with the client's existing and future IT landscape
- Evaluate non-functional requirements: global scalability, performance, data security, regulatory compliance
- Develop business case and prepare RFP documentation based on technical findings and business requirements
- Support vendor selection and negotiation; act as primary technical/functional contact during demos
Requirements
- Deep domain expertise in commodity trading markets and full trade lifecycle for soft commodities
- Understanding of supply chain and financial systems relevant to commodities
- Proven experience implementing, configuring, or supporting CTRM/ETRM systems
- Familiarity with modern SaaS and cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) desirable
- Strong business and systems analysis skills; ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and solution designs
- Ability to act as technical and functional point of contact during vendor demonstrations and negotiations
- Work from the European Union region and valid work permit required
- English proficiency at minimum B2 level (implied by application question)
