About the role
- Train and refine Grok to handle diverse languages with accuracy and cultural nuance.
- Provide labels, annotations, and inputs on projects involving multilingual text, translations, and cultural adaptations using proprietary software.
- Support the delivery of high-quality curated data that ensures accurate language representation and contextual fidelity.
- Collaborate with technical staff to develop tasks that improve the AI's ability to process and generate content in multiple languages.
- Work with technical staff to improve annotation tools for efficient workflows.
- Contribute to enabling seamless interactions for users worldwide by bridging language barriers and enhancing multilingual context understanding.
Requirements
- Demonstrated high proficiency in English, with strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
- High fluency in at least one of the following languages: Chinese (Simplified), Spanish, German, French, Arabic (Khaleeji), Italian, Portuguese or Hindi.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multilingual content, including translation accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and contextual interpretation.
- Strong comprehension skills and the ability to make independent judgments on ambiguous or limited multilingual material.
- Strong ability to navigate information resources, databases, and online sources in multiple languages for verification and analysis.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to developing AI that supports inclusive, multilingual intelligence.
- Preferred: Experience in translation, linguistics, content localization, or roles involving multilingual data annotation.
- Must be able to work scheduled training hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm PST for the first two weeks and 9:00am - 5:30pm in your own timezone thereafter.
- Device requirements for personal device work: Chromebook, Mac with MacOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later.
- Must own and have reliable access to a smartphone.
- We are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
- If based in the US, the employer cannot hire applicants located in Wyoming or Illinois.
