About the role
- Be an integral part of a team providing on-demand language services for a leading global language solutions company.
- Translate and interpret conversations in real time between Russian and English.
- Answer incoming calls and provide high-quality, real-time interpretation.
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality by strictly adhering to confidentiality protocols.
- Manage the flow of conversations professionally and calmly, ensuring clear and effective communication even in high-stress situations.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality in translations, using appropriate terminology and cultural context.
- Participate in comprehensive, paid training to ensure success.
Requirements
- You must be a resident of Portugal to be considered.
- Fluent Russian: native-level or C2 proficiency in Russian (written and spoken).
- Advanced English: at least C1 level of English.
- Strong communication skills: excellent listener with a clear, professional, and empathetic speaking voice.
- Adaptability: ability to think quickly and adjust translation style to different situations and industries.
- Resilience: able to handle sensitive and challenging conversations with composure and empathy.
- Tech savvy: reliable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace to perform duties remotely.
- Prior experience not required; comprehensive, paid training provided.
