About the role
- Part of a team providing on-demand language services for a global language solutions company
- Translate and interpret conversations in real time between Russian and English
- Serve as the communication link across industries such as healthcare, finance, and legal
- Answer incoming calls and provide high-quality, real-time interpretation
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality while conveying information
- Professionally manage the flow of conversations to ensure smooth communication
- Maintain high standards of quality and use appropriate terminology
- Full-time remote position working from within Portugal
Requirements
- Must be a resident of Portugal to be considered
- Native-level or C2 proficiency in Russian (written and spoken)
- Advanced English (minimum C1)
- Excellent listening skills and a clear, professional speaking voice
- Ability to adapt translation style to different situations and industries
- Ability to handle sensitive and challenging conversations with professionalism and empathy
- Prior experience is a plus but not required (paid training provided)
