About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday and internal/external systems
- Partner across multiple units to deliver solutions that shape how WVU serves students, faculty, and staff
- Lead and mentor a team of developers building and maintaining Workday integrations across finance, HR, and academic units
- Drive projects from start to finish by coordinating tasks across developers, analysts, and stakeholders
- Translate business needs into secure, reliable solutions using Workday Studio, EIB, Orchestrate, and Web Services
- Ensure seamless data flow by monitoring integration performance, troubleshooting issues, and enforcing security, privacy, and data governance standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and maintain strong relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience building and maintaining integrations for enterprise-wide solutions
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Workday integration development
- Strong knowledge of Workday HCM, Finance and/or Student module concepts & capabilities
- Strong working knowledge of Workday Studio Development including Orchestrate
- Strong working knowledge of Workday EIB, RaaS, and Web Services
- Strong working knowledge of SOAP, REST, XML and XSLT, Java
- Workday certification in Integration or Studio preferred
- Workday certification in Orchestrate preferred
