About the role

  • Work closely with senior project manager, faculty, administrators, staff, and other stakeholders to plan, execute, and deliver complex projects in a timely manner.
  • You will be responsible for both cyclical and non-cyclical initiatives that support the evolving priorities of the WVUCI research mission.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the development of project metrics and milestones and to evaluate progress.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with stakeholders.
  • Provide routine project updates to the team.
  • Prepare and maintain records, reports, and presentation materials.
  • Prioritize multiple initiatives to ensure successful, on time completion with minimal direction.
  • Collaborate with team members on complex initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, scope, timeline, and required resources.
  • Performing quality control on the projects to maintain the expected standards.
  • Monitor progress towards goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or medical/science related field.
  • A minimum of two (2) years in the following: Effective program/project management experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.
  • Ability to perform high quality work while meeting strict deadlines for deliverables.
  • Competency in use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent English Skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent organizational skills, including time management and prioritizing tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task, while remaining detail-oriented
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • PMP, CAPM, or LSS certification
