About the role
- Overview Otter Products is currently recruiting an Engineering Program Manager to join our Program Management Office, based at our headquarters in beautiful Fort Collins, CO working a hybrid schedule.
- Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of consumer product development programs across multiple teams and domains.
- Engage in product strategy creation by aligning technical execution with business and customer goals.
- Define program scope, goals, success criteria, and deliverables that support business objectives.
- Develop and manage detailed program schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain managers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and resource availability.
- Lead engineering, supply chain and product teams through consumer product development.
- Lead core team meetings and facilitate cross-functional communications.
- Track and report program progress, risks, and issues to senior leadership and across the business.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication and decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to budget and program management methodologies.
- Actively reflect with core teams on improvement opportunities, leveraging industry best practices to evolve program execution.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve business processes to enhance program efficiency, scalability, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Operate effectively in ambiguous environments, bringing clarity and structure to evolving priorities.
- Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field is preferred. Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- Minimum of two years of program management experience is required.
- Experience in consumer product development is preferred.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies is preferred.
- PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification preferred.
- Proficiency in project management tools is preferred (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Confluence).
- Lean/Six Sigma experience and/or certification is a plus.
- Understanding of technical product development processes, including milestones and metrics to ensure cost, quality, and time-to-market expectations are met.
