About the role
- Manage the operational and personnel functions of the Eberly Center for Career Development
- Provide employment and internship information and connections
- Develop programs and verify content used by unit and pushed to faculty
- Plan and implement employer-connected activities for the Eberly College and associated graduate studies programs
- Counsel undergraduate and graduate students regarding career decision-making
- Design new curricula for career and professional development courses
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers related to designated academic areas
- Assist daily office functions as needed
Requirements
- Master's degree in business, educational administration, counseling, college student personnel, or related field required
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in career planning, employment services, or human resources, preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge in program development, supervision, and evaluation
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals and groups from various backgrounds
- Proficiency in managing operational budgets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with the National Association of Colleges and Employer's principles and practices of career planning, employment, and recruitment
- Familiarity with relevant platforms and software (Handshake, Navigate)
- Valid U.S. driver's license
