About the role
- Manages, coordinates, and evaluates financial, material and human resources in nursing care for assigned groups of patients.
- Advises the Director on hiring, retention, interviewing and recruitment of staff.
- Initiates and maintains appropriate personnel records.
- Develops and implements educational programs for staff.
- Provides ongoing feedback to employees concerning job performance.
- Monitors personnel and current expense budgets and recommends budget preparation to assure cost-effective operations.
- Assures economical utilization of time, materials and resources.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
- Specialty certification desirable.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
- Four (4) years nursing experience with at least two years management experience.
