About the role

  • Manages, coordinates, and evaluates financial, material and human resources in nursing care for assigned groups of patients.
  • Advises the Director on hiring, retention, interviewing and recruitment of staff.
  • Initiates and maintains appropriate personnel records.
  • Develops and implements educational programs for staff.
  • Provides ongoing feedback to employees concerning job performance.
  • Monitors personnel and current expense budgets and recommends budget preparation to assure cost-effective operations.
  • Assures economical utilization of time, materials and resources.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
  • Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
  • Specialty certification desirable.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
  • Four (4) years nursing experience with at least two years management experience.
