About the role
- Translate business, product, partnership, and engineering achievements into compelling narratives for CIOs, CxOs, influencers, and top tech and business media
- Develop and execute comprehensive, cross-channel PR strategies to enhance WRITER’s brand visibility and reputation in the tech and AI sectors
- Plan and execute PR activities around product launches, company milestones, partnerships, and industry events
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and fuel PR agency through storymining and asset creation
- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists, editors, and influencers; pitch stories and manage media inquiries
- Craft press releases, thought leadership articles, social posts, and other PR materials highlighting WRITER’s solutions
- Identify, engage, and activate key industry influencers to amplify WRITER’s message
- Track and analyze PR metrics to measure campaign impact and provide insights
- Work closely with marketing, EPD, and executive teams to align PR efforts with business goals
- Stay current on AI industry developments and translate complex technical topics into accessible narratives
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in public relations, with experience in tech and product PR
- Experience driving results in a high-growth B2B SaaS startup environment preferred
- Experience marketing to IT a plus
- Deep understanding of the AI and technology landscape, including emerging trends and key players
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and industry stakeholders
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute effective PR campaigns
- Creative approach to integrated storytelling across channels
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Collaborative and team-oriented, able to work across departments and levels
- Skilled at translating complex technical topics into simple, sticky soundbites
- Ability to engage new and traditional media to reach target audiences
- Voracious in staying up to date on AI industry developments
