About the role
- Develop and build complex prompts, applications, and agents to support customers using WRITER's Palmyra family of models
- Create and optimize base prompts to supercharge customers’ content creation pipelines
- Use linguistic expertise to craft search patterns enforcing customer formatting guidelines
- Design, develop, and evaluate prompt chains for specific content creation tasks
- Scope projects with Customer success stakeholders and customers and define best practices for created solutions
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of prompt engineering processes and outcomes
- Collaborate with engineering to integrate prompt engineering work into the product
- Ensure customer content aligns with their style and formatting requirements
- Report initially to the VP of Technical Delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer science, Linguistics, or a related field
- Solid coding proficiency using Python
- Professional experience in prompt design and a deep understanding of linguistic principles
- Expertise working with search patterns for morphology and word patterns
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and evaluating base prompts
- Knowledge of natural language processing and machine learning concepts is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Problem-solving mindset and a passion for working on complex challenges
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Legally authorized to work in the country in which the job is located (application asks)
- Located within 50 miles of an office hub or willing to relocate; able and excited to join in-person collaborative working sessions in office 2-3 days/week
