💰 $55,300 - $99,500 per year
About the role
- Two-year rotational Mechanical Engineering Leadership Program with six-month rotations
- Rotate to different functional areas to build business acumen and skill proficiency
- Work on projects in New Product Development, Sustaining, VAVE, and Manufacturing (Crawfordsville, IN)
- Gain exposure to Optical Engineering, Light Engine Engineering, Outsourced Product Development, Product Support, Tech Support, Post Sales, Model Shop, Project Management, Labs & Certifications, and Sourcing
- Collaborate with experienced engineers on real projects
- Participate in specialized onboarding, one-on-one mentorship, social/networking events, and personal growth activities
- Present leadership report-out meetings and receive performance reviews to identify strengths and growth areas
- Travel as needed up to 20%
- Understand how role fits into larger company strategy and develop into future leader
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology (required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated time-management skills
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Availability to travel up to 20%
- Leadership experience influencing change, people, and processes (highly preferred)
- Team-oriented with a drive to take initiative (highly preferred)
- Less than two years of related work experience (highly preferred)
- Start date availability: January 12, 2026
- Willingness to work in various U.S. locations
