About the role
- Serve as the lead finance partner to Operations Delivery leadership (e.g., Site Management)
- Lead development of the Annual Budget, multi-year Strategic Plans, and monthly forecasting for the delivery unit
- Oversee project-level financial performance of the delivery unit, including realization, gross margin, out‑of‑scope (OOS) management, and project risk identification
- Provide informal leadership and guidance to finance teams through various reporting structures, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Support business development initiatives, including financial modeling for feasibility and resourcing strategies
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and revenue recognition standards
Requirements
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance, including Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) or operational finance roles
- 5+ years supporting project‑based delivery functions
- Proven track record in FP&A, strategic planning, and operational finance
- Experience in Contract Research Organization (CRO), pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry strongly preferred
- Prior experience in PE-backed or leveraged organizations is desirable
