About the role
- Develop and nurture relationships with legacy giving society members.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospects by identifying, qualifying, cultivating, and soliciting donors.
- Implement targeted cultivation strategies to maintain and increase legacy and planned gifts.
- Manage and maintain relationships with an assigned portfolio of donors.
- Collaborate with estate planning professionals to promote and facilitate planned giving opportunities.
- Establish financial goals and strategic plans in consultation with the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required in sales, marketing, communications or another related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience in fundraising and/or gift planning.
- An actively practicing Christian with participation in a local Christian community.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within teams.
- Proven experience in donor relationship building and securing legacy/planned gifts.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management programs.
