About the role
- Lead daily aviation refuelling operations, ensuring safe receipt, storage, and into‑plane delivery of fuel.
- Maintain the highest standards of Safety, Security, Health & Environment (SSHE) compliance.
- Supervise refuelling technicians and maintenance staff, managing staffing levels and vehicle utilisation.
- Ensure compliance with World Kinect standards, airline requirements, regulatory audits, and inspections.
- Act as the on‑site lead during incidents, activating emergency procedures when required.
- Liaise with airline customers to manage schedules, workloads, and service expectations.
- Investigate incidents and operational issues, implementing improvements to enhance safety and efficiency.
- Ensure accurate inventory control (wet stock and assets).
- Oversee contractor inductions, work permits, and site access in line with company policies.
- Support staff training, competency assessments, and performance reporting.
Requirements
- Essential LGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- GCSE‑level education (or equivalent)
- Proven supervisory or operational leadership experience
- Strong safety‑first mindset and attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to work effectively with teams and customers
- Basic IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel)
