About the role

  • - Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with accounting standards
  • - Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • - Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • - Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and investigate variances
  • - Maintain organized accounting documentation and financial records
  • - Support audit preparation and compliance requirements
  • - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting and financial processes
  • - Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies

Requirements

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • - 1–3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or similar roles
  • - Familiarity with US GAAP and experience in multi-entity, regulated, or fast-paced environments preferred
  • - Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting
  • - Hands-on experience with reconciliations, financial statements, and close cycles (month-end / year-end)
  • - Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues proactively
  • - Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (Sage preferred); advanced Excel skills required (formulas, pivot tables)
  • - Background in financial services, lending, banking, fintech, public accounting, or high-growth companies is a plus
  • - Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability for work output
  • - Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • - Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
