Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of multiple projects and client representatives to ensure that contracted scope of work and expectations are accomplished within prescribed timeframes and funding parameters and with minimal environmental impacts.
Manage the growth and development of assigned managers and staff and ensure Clients and regulatory agencies are satisfied with all work product and efforts at facilities under supervision.
Involvement in project proposals or plans to determine time frames, funding sources and limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, resource allocations and environmental impacts.
Assist Business Development in the pursuit of new projects through networking, leads and involvement in a variety of municipal and industry related associations.
Participation in the recruitment of staff for facility positions while effectively mentoring and managing their professional growth, development opportunities, and compensation.
Directing and coordinating of activities of project personnel to ensure project responsibilities are met and assigned tasks progress on schedule, within prescribed budget and compliance guidelines.
Working with project and support personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
Serve as primary point of contact with the external Client, regulatory agencies and internal company support personnel and departments.
Requirements
High School Graduate or Equivalent, or technical/vocational school background, a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Minimum twelve (12) years in wastewater and water distribution/treatment or mechanical field(s) is required. Previous management experience is preferred.
Candidate will have previous training in, or continue training in, general management, asset management and compliance management programs, human resources, new technology, financial management, and SCADA operations via continuing education opportunities.
