Identifying, evaluating and developing new markets, segments, and partnership aligned with Industrials Formulators’ strategic growth objectives, and lead prospecting and outreach efforts to establish new business relationships.
Developing and executing account strategies to strengthen relationships, increase share of wallet, and improve sales profits.
Driving closure of new business opportunities and growing profitability for BASF
Establishing multi-level relationships with customers as well as interfacing closely within the BASF organization to drive new projects and business growth.
Identifying customers’ innovation needs and how BASF can fulfil those requirements, while collaborating with technical, marketing, and product management teams to deliver customer-specific solutions.
Developing and implementing a strategic growth plan for accounts that will result in a measurable increase of product sales.
Requirements
Earned a bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or business.
Have 5+ years’ experience in new business development, account management, or related customer-facing experience.
Possess proven success in driving revenue growth through both account expansion and new market development.
Are experienced in the Chemical Manufacturing industry; preferrably with construction, industrial, bioprocessing, or metal surface treatment markets.
Show strong entrepreneurial/hunter mindset with focus on results, with the ability to execute hands-on business development initiatives and lead cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth for BASF.
Have excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
