Support continued growth within the Production Optimisation team and contribute to technical delivery of Flow Assurance engineering excellence
Work as part of a team on studies and projects ranging from conceptual to detailed engineering and operations support
Collaborate closely with the Lead Flow Assurance Engineer to meet project deliverables on time and within budget
Manage own schedule, contribute to progress reports and recommend adjustments to project plans and cost estimates
Perform steady state and transient single phase and multi-phase flow simulations for projects (oil, gas/condensate, water injection, chemical injection, H2, CO2, etc.)
Develop engineering deliverables including specifications, calculations, reports and technical requisitions
Interpret specifications, investigate difficulties and review vendor documents
Actively participate in design reviews and provide FA discipline expertise
Conduct problem solving, develop alternative solutions, identify risks and benefits
Provide technical input and support to proposal drafting and CTRs, and may assist Lead/Principal FA Engineer in delivering small-scale projects
Exercise professional judgement in modifying standard methods and procedures with guidance
Requirements
Previous experience in Flow Assurance
Recognised qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Chemical, Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering)
Knowledge of multiphase flow, fluid dynamics, heat transfer and related engineering topics (desirable)
Proficient user of Process, Flow Assurance and PVT software suites (e.g. OLGA, Leda Flow, Pipesim, PVTSim, Multiflash)
User of industry standard Process Modelling tools (e.g. Aspen HYSYS/Unisim) (desired)
Experience with performing steady state and transient flow assurance modelling for Oil and Gas-Condensate systems
Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards
Ability to use Office software suite
Working level of knowledge of industry and technology development within discipline area
Ability to undertake discrete FA scopes within a Study or Project independently
Ability to guide and mentor Graduate Engineers
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Desirable: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
