About the role
- Delivery Engineer Advanced Technical level understanding of English - reading, writing and conversational.
- Core Skills: Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics of Gas and Steam Turbines, HRSG, Compressors, Condensers, Boiler Feed Pumps and other critical power generation equipment.
- Field operations of Natural Gas based Combined cycle power plant.
- Responsible for Monitoring & maintaining operating parameters such as pressure, temperature and flow within specified control limits to ensure uninterrupted power generation.
- Leverage Industry experience, equipment knowledge, software knowledge, and customer satisfaction skills to deliver predictive analytics and monitoring solutions.
- Provide expertise in post-sales customer lifecycle: training, professional services, technical support, renewals, outcome attainment, retention, expansion, and customer advocacy.
- Plan and execute departmental operations within standard functional practices and procedures.
- Coordinate with Maintenance departments and field operators for smooth operations and data collection for trend analysis.
- Perform HAZOP studies and generate risk profiles; participate in overhauling of turbine and boiler.
Requirements
- Advanced Technical level understanding of English - reading, writing and conversational.
- College Degree in a Technical Field preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Controls.
- Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in the related to the core skills.
- Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics of Gas and Steam Turbines, Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG), Compressors, Condensers, Boiler Feed Pumps, another other critical power generation equipment.
- Field operations of Natural Gas based Combined cycle power plant.
- Gas Turbine & Combined power plant experience.
- Turbine Auxiliaries knowledge.
- Knowledge of technical specifications and documents such as P&IDs, Process description, Control philosophies, equipment & instrumentation datasheets, utilities and chemicals consumption summaries and calculations.
- Experience with Lube Oil system, Air intake system.
- Experience with Quick actions during Emergency operations.
- Responsible for Monitoring & maintaining all operating parameters such as pressure, temperature and flow within specified control limits to ensure un-interrupted power generation.
- Experience with Control room operations of Thermal and Combined Cycle power plants (optional).
- Commissioning of Air compressors and good expertise in Compressors and Adsorption type Air dryers (optional).
- Perform HAZOP studies and generate risk profile of skids and development safety rules.
- Actively participated in overhauling of Turbine and Boiler.
