About the role

  • Support the management and delivery of Training and Competence services across the business
  • Ensure our workforce have the skills and competencies required to do their job safely
  • Assist the progress of training compliance, renewal of expiring certification and achievement of KPI in conjunction with the training management service provider

Requirements

  • Secondary Standard grade/higher or equivalent experience
  • Preferably requires training and competence experience in a highly regulated process industry
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate information to a range of audiences and stakeholders.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, to work collaboratively to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work and prioritise
  • Strong ability to work flexibly - managing changing and competing priorities and absorbing new information rapidly to address issues
  • Clear understanding of technical disciplines and associated competencies
  • Ability to analyses data and provide recommendations on findings
  • Attention to detail
  • Capable to support on training and competence programmes
  • Good level of competence in the application of standards, processes and procedures and how they are used in work execution
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory framework and associated legislation
