About the role
- Support the management and delivery of Training and Competence services across the business
- Ensure our workforce have the skills and competencies required to do their job safely
- Assist the progress of training compliance, renewal of expiring certification and achievement of KPI in conjunction with the training management service provider
Requirements
- Secondary Standard grade/higher or equivalent experience
- Preferably requires training and competence experience in a highly regulated process industry
- Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate information to a range of audiences and stakeholders.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, to work collaboratively to achieve objectives.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work and prioritise
- Strong ability to work flexibly - managing changing and competing priorities and absorbing new information rapidly to address issues
- Clear understanding of technical disciplines and associated competencies
- Ability to analyses data and provide recommendations on findings
- Attention to detail
- Capable to support on training and competence programmes
- Good level of competence in the application of standards, processes and procedures and how they are used in work execution
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory framework and associated legislation
