About the role
- Design and deliver training programs focused on communication, active listening, objection handling, and consultative selling.
- Executes ongoing training that provides both formal training and informal coaching sessions to both Inside and Outside Sales Representatives.
- Participates in training and coaching the Inside Sales and Outside sales staff.
- Creates and delivers quality training programs as required to increase the effectiveness of employees.
- Assesses training needs, develops and enhances new and existing training programs which consistently meet the goals and needs of the company and the end-user.
- Determine training needs from input given by the field and sales leadership team.
- Continually evaluates the effectiveness of all programs for updating and enhancements.
- Provide structured feedback to reps and managers to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain a consistent training cadence that aligns with sales cycles and business priorities.
- Facilitate workshops on negotiation, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant experience
- 2 years in direct business-to-business sales
- 2+ years of sales training experience
- Experience with salesforce.com
