About the role
- Leads and manages Inside Sales Leaders and Representatives across multiple Market Areas, driving revenue growth through expert sales of WM services via telephone.
- Develops, maintains and reinforces the corporate sales strategy and design with the Segment targeted Inside Sales Team.
- Establishes and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction on all sales transactions and works with Segment VPs, GSDs, GSMVPs and ASDs to resolve unique customer issues.
- Ensures team members meet or exceed sales goals for new sales.
- Forecasts and recruits qualified candidates.
- Develops and executes ongoing training that provides both formal training and informal coaching sessions; participates in training and coaching the Inside Sales staff.
- Assists in the communication and maintenance of the Corporate pricing and service strategies.
- Drives execution of sales plans across teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives; translates goals into actual strategies.
- Sets up and maintains accurate customer records for all customer interactions, including prospect data, contracts, orders and service machine documentation.
- Takes initiative to drive change and identify ongoing improvements to increase efficiency and profitability and professionally present to Senior Leaders.
- Direct supervision of up to 2 Inside Sales Managers, 1 Inside Sales Supervisor and 45 ISRs.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- Experience: Three (3) years in direct business-to-business sales or a minimum two (2) years of inside sales management experience.
- Internal requirements include 3 years of proven success in a Level 4-6 sales position.
- An additional three (3) years of business-to-business sales management may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
- Certificates/Licenses: None required.
