About the role
- WM, a Fortune 250 company, is the leading provider of comprehensive waste and environmental services in North America.
This critical role manages sales support for the benefit of the WM sales organization and WM customer base.
This position is remote however the employee must reside in Arizona, New Mexico, Utah or Colorado based on business need.
Oversee the growth and development of the administrative professionals who support our 4C SMB & Construction Sales Team members who focus on B2B sales across Utah, Colorado, New Mexico & Arizona.
Manage all functions and strategic initiatives associated to drive profitable growth including building efficiency with internal communication channels; customer service liaison support; validating contract data for billing accuracy; overseeing National/Broker communication channels/bids; facilitating sustainability reporting; developing marketing support; conducting market research & sourcing leads; serving as liaison with sales teams for proposals/presentations/pricing/RFPs; creating and maintaining market and competitive intelligence; functioning as a communications resource; sourcing and managing tools to target high potential accounts; locating and managing research data sources; performing market research to increase prospects in pipeline; identifying market trends and translating customer needs into new solutions; collaborating with sales team to identify external market dynamics and lead workshops; assisting in planning trade show events; supervising staff.
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Normal setting for this job is a home office setting with travel within some travel required.
The expected base pay range for this position across the US is $84,300 - $107,500. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Communications or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
Experience: Five (5) years related sales work & Leadership experience (in addition to education requirement).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work with financial metrics and models (understanding balance sheets, income statements, 10Ks and performing quantitative market research.)
Trained in the WM sales methodology
Able to write effective proposals
Able to assess and analyze financial conditions of clients and industry trends
Excellent oral communication skills
Excellent group presentation skills
Excellent project management skills
