About the role
- Create and implement strategic marketing initiatives in line with overall business objectives across various marketing functions, including performance marketing, events, social media marketing and product marketing.
- Setting revenue targets and analyzing data to figure out what changes need to be made in order to attain these targets.
- Performing quality control in terms of consistent brand messaging and customer communications.
- Seeking out new relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers and nurturing existing relationships.
- Keeping a close eye on marketing budgets to limit expenses.
- Creating and leading a successful team while nurturing a culture that reflects and enhances company values.
- Using data and analytics for decision-making and measuring marketing effectiveness, as well as creating a culture of structured experimentation and iteration to drive growth.
- Providing strategic guidance and leadership to support overall business growth and success.
- Optimizing the effectiveness of existing marketing channels such as emails, social media, website, etc., based on data-driven insights.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience, preferably within a SaaS-oriented marketing operation or marketing agency.
- A degree or diploma that contributes to the organization is considered an asset.
- Strong recruitment, training, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices.
- Capacity to manage global teams and complex projects seamlessly.
- Must be detail-oriented and creative and have a passion for helping partners and Team Members achieve their goals.
- Ability to analyze data and information to make key decisions that lead to continuous wins
- Strong in audience and marketing research
- Self-motivated with the ability to establish and maintain solid relationships through a client-first mentality.
- As part of a diverse team, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Must be technical, analytical, results-driven and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Organized, administratively strong, and have solid writing, phone, and general communication skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of a second language is considered an asset.
- Willing to participate in ongoing education and training for the role.
