Associate

• Support the development of permit submission discovery ensuring comprehensive permit applications, interact with project design professionals and Wing Partners, and strategically represent the company at municipality meetings
• Actively participate in regulatory processes, staying informed on market changes and regulatory developments that may impact projects
• With internal and 3rd party vendors, coordinate the scheduling, delivery, and status of all permits, ensuring alignment and coordination with internal and external stakeholders from project inception to permit approval
• Facilitate the permit application process by obtaining necessary documents from engineering teams, securing required approvals, and acting as the primary liaison between Wing and our Partners
• Prepare and submit required permitting applications, ensuring compliance with agency and board requirements, and update issued plans for accuracy
• Maintain permitting database including process to permit, AHJ requirements and zoning laws.
• Collaborate closely with clients to ensure timely processing of permits and maintain clear and effective communication
• Up to 75% travel to in person AHJ meetings across the country.

Permitting Associate

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Serve as the strategic Finance Business Partner to Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics leadership.
• Oversee financial management for R&D, CAPEX, manufacturing, and freight/warehouse operations.
• Design and maintain complex cost frameworks, encompassing Bill of Materials (BOM), factory yields, and inventory valuation to bring clarity to unit economics.
• Synthesize technical roadmap milestones and hardware specifications into scalable financial projections.
• Orchestrate monthly forecasts, annual budgeting, and close cycles while articulating the operational drivers behind financial variances.
• Pinpoint and execute efficiency initiatives across supply chain routes, warehouse logistics, and production lines.
• Champion the adoption of AI-enabled tools and automation to modernize financial reporting and eliminate manual efforts.

Finance Lead

Business Operations

• Lead and scale the Business Operations function, defining the team’s charter, mentoring talent, and allocating resources to the highest-impact priorities across the company.
• Own the company-wide operating system, including planning cycles (OKRs, annual planning), business reviews, and execution frameworks to ensure organizational alignment and velocity.
• Translate corporate strategy into operational execution, bridging the gap between executive vision and day-to-day delivery by ensuring cross-functional teams have clear roadmaps and accountability.
• Drive organizational efficiency and health, proactively identifying silos, operational drag, or resource imbalances, and implementing structural solutions to resolve them.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for critical execution risks, partnering with senior-level stakeholders to unblock complex programs and drive rapid decision-making.
• Establish the 'Gold Standard' for project management and process rigor at Wing, creating toolkits and frameworks that elevate the operational maturity of the entire organization.

Head of Business Operations

Manager

• Lead end-to-end permitting initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. Define goals, operational plans, and success metrics that align directly with Wing’s commercial and financial objectives.
• Actively shape the regulatory landscape. Identify key municipal decision-makers, build compelling business cases, and thoughtfully partner with them to align on project objectives and advance Wing’s strategic interests.
• Architect unified work scopes by delegating to and collaborating with internal engineering teams, design professionals, and external Wing Partners. Resolve conflicts and areas of misalignment to keep projects moving smoothly.
• Apply a strong analytical mindset to test assumptions, forecast potential regulatory bottlenecks, and enact robust contingency plans before challenges escalate into major obstacles.
• Continuously challenge the status quo. Identify opportunities to optimize the permitting process, implement test-and-learn approaches, and champion change management internally to accelerate our deployment speed.
• Model a commitment to continuous improvement. Share your subject matter expertise proactively, guide peers through complex challenges, and build systems that make the process better and more efficient for the next person.
• Up to 75% travel, including occasional international trips.

• Build the blueprint, strategy, and system foundation for Wing’s first centralized corporate training function to serve the global workforce
• Evaluate, select, and implement modern, AI-driven learning tools and knowledge systems. Think beyond static, archaic LMS tools, this is an opportunity to build or implement adaptive learning paths and realtime support mechanisms driven by automated content contextualization
• Act as the architect of core learning pillars, utilizing strong foundational learning science to ensure learning pathways drive specific, measurable business goals. Core initial programs will include:
• Safety, Compliance, and Environmental Health & Safety
• Build upon Wing’s existing leadership frameworks that define how Wing managers lead, mentor, and build high-performing teams
• Elevating engineering and operational skill sets through cutting-edge workflows. Partner with our AI Champions across the organization to help cascade key AI training & development
• Partner closely with various client groups and executive leadership to align learning objectives with organizational metrics and dynamic regulatory requirements including:
• Partnering with the Aviation Safety team on core learning modules that support our Safety Management System.
• Partnering with the Legal, Compliance and EH&S teams on critical compliance and EH&S training for our employees and extended field teams
• Facilitate training sessions for Winglets (virtual and in person), depending on the content
• Operate initially as an entrepreneurial individual contributor who designs and delivers materials directly. Over time, you will strategically build out a small, scrappy team to expand impact
