About the role
- Identify, develop, and own event-based marketing initiatives to generate qualified sales leads for Window Nation
- Identify, negotiate, and attend trade shows, fairs, festivals, community events and other opportunities to generate leads within your market area
- Forecast event budgets, manage inventory, and maintain approved budget
- Exceed sales lead quotas based on established KPIs
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and manage event teams to deliver an exceptional event experience
- Manage event representative schedules to ensure events are staffed for success
- Partner with branch operations, marketing, and sales to grow market brand presence
- Track and report event metrics to evaluate event team and individual performance
- Travel up to 40% and work weekends/evenings as required to support scheduled events
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time; up to 6 hours during event
- 1+ years’ experience in event marketing, field marketing, sales or lead generation
- 2+ years in a leadership position
- Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company's insurance requirements
- Ability to drive a box truck
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
- Required travel up to 40%
- Required to work weekends and/or evenings to support scheduled events
- Preferred: Associates degree
- Preferred: Strong negotiation, recruiting, and training skills
- Preferred: Self-starter with ability to manage and develop others
- Preferred: Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time
- Preferred: Strong planning and organizational skills, including attention to detail
- Preferred: Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
- Preferred: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment
- Preferred: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
